Estimates, not tax advice
This app provides an estimate of self-employment and federal income tax to help you plan how much to set aside each quarter. It is not tax advice, not a tax return, and not a substitute for a qualified tax professional or the official IRS instructions and forms. Always verify figures before filing or making a payment.
No guarantee of accuracy
Tax rules change, and this app's calculations rely on a simplified model (a flat state-tax rate, a single-state assumption, and standard federal rules that may not reflect your specific situation, such as credits, additional deductions, or multi-state income). We work to keep the underlying figures current but make no warranty that any estimate is complete, accurate, or applicable to you.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your own tax filings and payments, including their accuracy and timeliness. Use of this app does not create any tax, legal, or financial advisory relationship.
Subscriptions
Certain features (your calculated set-aside amount) require a paid subscription, billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app in ways that violate applicable law or Apple's own terms.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, penalties, or losses arising from reliance on an estimate produced by this app.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
